Bridgeport International Academy (BIA) is located in the Seaside Institute building, adjacent to the campus of the University of Bridgeport, at the corner of Lafayette and Atlantic Streets in Bridgeport, Connecticut, just 75 miles from New York City and close to all major Connecticut highways.

Bordering Long Island Sound, BIA’s location offers beautiful views, Seaside Park recreational opportunities, and swimming at ocean beaches. Students share use of the University of Bridgeport’s Arnold Bernhard Arts Center, Health Science Center, Swimming Pool, Gymnasium, Martial Arts Facility, Cafeteria, and Library. Marina Dining Hall is operated by the Sodexho Food Services, and the Wheeler Recreation Center has a basketball court, indoor swimming pool and weight room.

Exit 27

I-95 North (From N.Y.)
Take Exit 27; at the bottom of the ramp go straight and take a right turn at Lafayette Street to Atlantic Street. Visitors’ parking will be on the left side on Lafayette Street in front of the building.

I-95 South (Toward N.Y.)
Take Exit 27; take left hand fork to the bottom of the ramp and go straight to take left turn at Lafayette Street to Atlantic Street. Visitors’ parking will be on the left side on Lafayette Street in front of the building.

Merritt Parkway
(Route 15)

South on Route 15 (Toward N.Y.)
Take Exit 52 (South fork) and bear left to Route 8/25 Connector to Exit 1 (Prospect Street/Myrtle Avenue). At the bottom of the ramp go straight and take a left turn at Atlantic Street to Lafayette Street. Visitors’ parking will be on the left side on Lafayette Street in front of the building.

North on Route 15 (From N.Y.)
Take Exit 49S (South) to Route 25/8 Connector to Exit 1 (Prospect Street/Myrtle Avenue). At the bottom of the ramp go straight and take a left turn at Atlantic Street to Lafayette Street. Visitors’ parking will be on the left side on Lafayette Street in front of the building.
